Driver Fitting

A modern driver head is really a shell around two to four movable density ports. We treat those ports as the primary fitting variable, not an afterthought bolted on after the shaft is already picked.

Capture Bay

Twelve Numbers, Logged Every Swing

Two sensors run on the bay — a Doppler radar unit behind you and an overhead camera array — cross-checking ball speed, launch window, spin package, and face-to-path on every single rep, not a sampled average pulled from your best three swings.

Once we have a real baseline with your current port arrangement untouched, we start moving weight one port at a time, watching how the combined numbers shift rather than judging any one change in isolation.

Four Ports, Tested in Sequence

Back Port

Adding mass here raises launch and trims spin by pushing the CG deeper, independent of any loft change on the hosel.

Front Port

Shifting weight forward lowers spin further but drops launch and tightens the sweet spot — a lever for high-speed, low-spin players only.

Heel Port

More mass here opens the face at address and promotes a draw bias by encouraging the toe to release earlier through impact.

Toe Port

Loading the toe closes the face relatively and resists rotation on off-center strikes, useful for players fighting a hook.

Total Port Mass

Total weight across all ports sets overall swingweight and total head mass, which shapes transition timing more than any single port's position.

Shaft Pairing

Once the port arrangement is locked, shaft weight and flex get selected to match the head's new balance point, not the other way around.

The Chronic Hook

Face closing too fast through impact sometimes traces to a toe-heavy factory port setting rather than a swing path issue — worth checking before changing anything about your motion.

Falling Out of the Sky

Not enough spin for the launch angle you're producing usually calls for less front-port weight rather than a whole new head category.

Speed That Doesn't Show Up as Carry

Clean-sounding contact but flat carry numbers often trace to a CG sitting too far forward for your attack angle.

Wide Face Scatter

Contact wandering across the face rather than clustering shows up clearly on the overhead camera and usually calls for more heel-toe port mass, not a swing thought.
